Trinity Christian College joyfully celebrated 79th Independence Day

Trinity Christian College, Kalayapuram, proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India on August 15, 2025, at the college campus. The program began with the solemn flag hoisting ceremony, as the national flag was unfurled with respect and dignity, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem. Faculty, staff, and students gathered together to honor the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and to reflect on the responsibilities of being citizens of a free nation.

The event included patriotic songs, cultural performances, and student presentations that highlighted the rich heritage of India and the values of unity, freedom, and justice. Special messages were delivered by faculty members, encouraging students to uphold moral integrity, contribute positively to society, and serve the nation with dedication. The Independence Day Address was delivered by Rev. Lalechen Abraham, Executive Director of TIM, who reminded the community to live responsibly by serving God and humanity as citizens of our nation India.

The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to the nation and prayers for peace, progress, and unity. The 79th Independence Day served as a moment of gratitude for the contribution of our freedom fighters, giving thanks to God for the rising India, and hoping for a brighter future for our country and its people.
